10th Triennial Reunion | 2024 | Seattle, WA (Link)
The reunion took place in Seattle, WA; September 12 to 16, 2024 at the Silver Cloud Hotel in the vibrant South Lake Union area of Seattle, WA. Organized by the Hansen sisters, it was a good event, learning about the local Duwamish Tribe and the life of C.C.Calkins who made his mark in the area on Mercer Island.

Coming Home to Our Roots | 2021 | Norwich, CT (Link)
The event kicked off with a Meet & Greet at the Holiday Inn, where about 45 cousins gathered, followed by a bus tour of historic sites including Cedar Grove Cemetery and Shaw Mansion. The reunion also featured an election of new officers, a living history presentation at Leffingwell Inn, and a memorable afternoon at the Hugh Calkins House with dedication ceremonies, a quilt raffle, and a catered Italian buffet. The event concluded with a gathering at Melissa Calkins' home, where a time capsule was assembled for the year 2040. The next reunion is anticipated to be in the Seattle area.

A Gathering of History, Family, and Future | 2018 | Chicago, IL (Link)The Calkins Family Association's 2018 reunion in Chicago was a memorable convergence of history and kinship. Opening with Rev. Dr. Kurt J. Calkins' blessing, the event featured insightful talks, notably Tim Calkins' presentation on Mary Whiton Calkins, a pioneering psychologist. Key moments included the election of new board members and engaging historical presentations, bringing our rich family legacy to life. The banquet was a highlight, complete with awards and captivating talks, culminating in a vibrant celebration of our shared heritage. Organized by Norma Budzinski and Jean Kent, the event was a testament to the enduring spirit and connection of the Calkins family.
